Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max: Expected Features, Camera, A20 Pro Chip and Price
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is shaping up to be one of Apple’s most interesting flagship launches in 2026. While Apple has not officially announced the phone or confirmed its specifications, a growing number of reports point toward improvements in processing power, photography, battery life and connectivity.
Here’s what we currently know—and what remains speculation.
Design and Display
The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to retain a large 6.9-inch display, broadly following the design direction of the current Pro Max. Reports suggest Apple may introduce a more power-efficient LTPO+ display and could make the Dynamic Island noticeably smaller.
A partially under-display Face ID system has been rumored, although a completely notch-free iPhone should not be treated as confirmed. Color options such as Dark Cherry, burgundy or purple have also appeared in reports.
A20 Pro Chip and Performance
One of the biggest expected iPhone 18 Pro Max features is the A20 Pro chip. Credible reports indicate that Apple could use TSMC’s 2nm manufacturing technology for its next-generation Pro processor.
